Here’s your chance to inform policy at the national, state and local level by submitting best practice information for the National Rural Health Task Force’s compendium.
The National Rural Health Task Force is a group of members of the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) and the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) established in 2007 to “discuss rural issues, communication strategies and build partnerships to promote the long-term growth and sustainability of rural community and migrant health centers” through a cooperative agreement with HRSA’s Office of Rural Health Policy.
NRHA is accepting submissions of best practices from community health centers to be included in this year’s Compendium of Rural Best Practices/Models. The last compendium titled “Innovations to Strengthen Rural Health Care: Technology, Training and Workforce Development” was developed as a dynamic document, designed for ongoing use and modification by various entities. The compendium is utilized to help highlight best practices and inform rural health stakeholders.
Best practices will be incorporated in this year’s compendium that will also focus on issues related to technology, training and workforce development and be used to better inform policy, so please take a moment to fill out this template and return it to Amy Elizondo at elizondo@NRHArural.org by Nov. 5.
